York Township Water Authority Water Main Improvements project UNIT PRICE BID FOR: Construction in the areas indicated on the Construction Drawings: Furnishing and installing approximately 29,255 linear feet of water main which includes approximately 23,025 linear feet of 8, 6 and 4 inch PVC water main installed by open trench methods; 6,230 linear feet of 8, 6, and 4 inch PVC water main installed by horizontal directional drilling methods; two railroad borings; 32 gate valves, 20 fire hydrants; 222 customer service connections; furnishing radio read water meters; tie-ins, and restoration of disturbed areas and other work, complete as specified and shown on the CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS. Bidders who submit a Bid must be a Plan Holder of record at the Engineer's office. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids . Each Bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. This project requires a 100% security amount. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
