Renovation of a water / sewer project in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
To manufacturer Milorganite(R) fertilizer, the District operates a dewatering and drying (D&D) facility and a Milorganite(R) storage facility (MSF) consisting of 14 silos. The purpose of this project is to improve the reliability and performance of two processes: Milorganite transport equipment from the product coolers to the day bins in the Dewatering and Drying (D&D) Facility, and Milorganite transportation equipment from the day bins in D&D to the Milorganite Storage Facility (MSF) silos. The Contractor will remove and replace existing equipment and install new equipment in D&D (Building 258) and the MSF (Building 259). LIQUIDATED DAMAGES (2/20) In the event the Bidder is awarded the Contract and fails to complete the work within the time limits or extended time limits agreed upon, as more particularly set forth in the Contract Documents, liquidated damages shall be paid to the Owner at the daily rate of Five Hundred dollars, ($500) until the work is finished as provided by the Contract Documents Vendor Engagement and Q&A by no later than 5:00 p.m. local time on March 10, 2022All questions: Nathan Churchill, NChurchill@mmsd.com
