Renovation of an educational facility in Louisville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The scope of this Project shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, selective demolition and the purchase, delivery, construction and installation of new metal stud and drywall partitions, hollow metal frames, steel doors, counter millwork, suspended acoustical ceiling tile and grid (new and existing modifications), door hardware (new and existing modifications), painting, resilient floor tile, carpeting, wall base, electrical circuit revisions, electrical outlet installations, new light fixtures (and existing fixture) relocations, security and life safety (fire alarm) wiring, data wiring and modifications at the following schools in Louisville, Ky: BASE BID (All 8 Schools) Atkinson Academy; 2811 Duncan Street Brandeis Elementary School; 2817 West Kentucky Street Cochran Elementary School; 500 West Gaulbert Avenue Coleridge Taylor Montessori Elementary School; 1115 West Chestnut Street Frayser Elementary School; 1230 Larchmont Avenue King Elementary School; 4325 Vermont Avenue McFerran Preparatory Academy; 1900 South 7th Street Young Elementary School; 3526 West Muhammad Ali Blvd. ALTERNATE BIDS (Separate Bids Each) Carter Traditional Elementary School; 3600 Bohne Avenue Engelhard Elementary School; 1004 South 1st Street Bid Guaranty in the form of a Certified/Cashier's Check or Bid Bond shall accompany each bid. The amount of the Bid Guaranty shall not be less than five percent (5%) of the bid set forth on the Form of Proposal. The Bid Guaranty shall be made payable to Jefferson County Public Schools. The Bid Guaranty shall be issued by a Surety Company that has an A.M. Best Company rating of "A-" or better. Refer to Supplemental Instructions to Bidders. Absence of this document will be grounds for automatic rejection of bids. Certified or cashier's checks will not be returned until Board approval of the successful bidder. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bids received where such acceptance, rejection or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the Owner, and to reject any bid where evidence or information submitted by the bidder does not satisfy the Owner that the bidder is qualified to carry out the details of the contract documents.
