To remove the existing roofs for House 405/406 on the grounds of Pinecrest Support and Services, and replace with new roofing. o Furnish all labor, tools, materials, and equipment to demolish existing roof to deck and replace with CertainTeed Landmark shingles, color Weathered Wood, installed using the CertainTeed Integrity Roof System, with SureStart Plus 5-Star Protection Warranty, or equal. Roof is approximately one hundred fifty-six (156) squares. o Contractors must be manufacturer certified for warranty. o All shingles shall be nailed with a minimum of six (6) nails per shingle o Valleys shall be woven valleys over membrane flashing and any required roofing accessories by roofing manufacture to meet manufacturer system requirements. Note: Closed cut valleys or open flashing, will not be allowed. Install peel-and-stick membrane, thirty-six (36) inches wide, centered on valley. o Replace all roof jacks on building. o Remove and reinstall all roof vents and flash with new flashing per manufacturer's requirements. o Install moisture guard at all penetrations, eaves, vents, valleys, and rakes. o Flashing to be lapped a minimum of two (2) inches. o If manufacturer specifications exceed minimum requirements listed, the manufacturer specifications shall be followed. o Roof shall be installed to one hundred thirty (130) mile per hour (MPH) wind rating minimum. o All work must meet State and Local Building Codes and be in accordance with National Roofing Contractors Association Standards.
