Site work and paving for a civil project in Sussex, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The Village of Sussex is interested in obtaining the services of an Engineering Consultant to design and prepare the construction contract, project plans, and project specifications for the Village's 2023 Road Program. Tasks will include, but are not limited to, minimal surveying and design, drafting, contract and specification preparation, bidding, bid analysis, and contractor recommendations. Construction services will be handled separately and are not part of this proposal. The project includes repair and/or replacement of sanitary and storm structures, and pipes; repair and/or replacement of water system components; installation of new water main valves; spot repair and/or replacement of curb and gutter; repair and/or replacement of sidewalks and driveways (only as necessary); the resurfacing or replacement of roadway pavements; and, as alternates, the survey and design for the redesign of two cul-de-sacs to reduce their sizes; all within and around the Prides and Sussex Heights Neighborhood. (See attached map). This project will be funded by the Village of Sussex and potentially Local Road Improvement Program funds. A Professional Services Agreement will be signed by the selected Consultant and the Village. The Village Engineer, Judith Neu, will serve as project manager for the Village. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
