The City of Claremont is requesting statement of engineering qualifications, technical proposal and fee proposal from engineering firms to evaluate structural condition and safety of the former Sullivan Machine Power Plant Site and surrounding abandoned structures. The condition of the site has deteriorated over time and, as a result, needs to be fully evaluated for either repair or demolition. The team selected may be engaged for the implementation of the project. Women and Minority owned businesses are encouraged to apply. February 9, 2022, 5:00 PM Deadline for requests for more information March-June 2022 (Anticipated) Project schedule Interested vendors should submit an email containing contact information to Michael McCrory, mmccrory@claremontnh.com, with the subject "Sullivan Machine Power Plant Assessment - Interested Vendor," which will log the sender onto the Prospective Vendors list. All questions from Vendors regarding this RFQ should be submitted by email to the same address. Comments will be documented and responded to by the City via email to all Prospective Vendors no later than close of business on February 11, 2022. The City of Claremont reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and/or bids or any part thereof, to waive any formality, informality, information and/or errors on any basis which the City, in its sole and absolute discretion, determines to be in the best interest of the City. The City is not under obligation to select the lowest bid. Bids will remain in effect for a minimum of 60 days. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
