Question Cutoff Date: 2/2/2022 05:00 PM (ET) Mobilization costs indicated on the bid form will include the costs for all insurance requirements, project signs and the successful bidder's mobilization and demobilization. Mobilization costs will not exceed 10% of the total contract cost unless the successful bidder can provide to the Authority that its actual mobilization costs exceed 10%. Note Florida Trench Safety Act (90-96) will apply to this project. The successful bidder must put the Lift station wet well on bypass pumping for the duration of the project to keep local businesses and sewer working until the lift station rehabilitation is completed in accordance with these specifications and accepted by the Authority. Bypass pumping must be equipped with a 24-hour telemetry monitoring system. In the event of an issue, the successful bidder is required to provide immediate response and address all issues to the satisfaction of the Authority within 24 hours from the time successful bidder received notification of the issue. Payment for all work included in the bypass pumping bid item will include compensation for connections, labor, bypass pumps, temporary electric, temporary piping, fittings, restraints, excavation, dewatering backfill, compaction, and the bypassing of the existing lift station in order to complete the proposed improvements. Minimum 1/4 '' stainless steel (316) lifting chains with stainless steel 5/16'' shackles are required for pumps at time of installation, or as required by the pump assembly weight. Install a new 2'' 304 stainless steel guide rail system with 304 stainless steel upper guide brackets to accommodate selected pump and rail system. 4'' 150lb. standard ANSI flange pump discharge and base system required for lift station application. Install four new Roto type heavy duty Anchor Scientific Stainless Steel normally opened float switches (internally weighted) with heavy duty six hook SS cable and float rack. Lengths to be determined by the successful bidder on site.
