Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashiers Check, or Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Weymouth Township School District for not less than ten percent of the amount of the base bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00. Prospective bidders are advised that this Project is one which will be subject and will be governed by provisions of New Jersey State Law governing: (a) Prequalifications of Bidders N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-26 et seq. (b) Prevailing Wage Rates N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.27 (c) Use of Domestic Materials, N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-20 including any amendments and supplements thereto (d) P.L. 1977, Chapter 33, (N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2) listing corporate / partnership names and addresses for individuals with a share of 10% or more and (e) Disclosure of investment activities in Iran in accordance with P.L.2012, c.25 and N.J.S.A. 18A: 18A-49.4. (f) The New Jersey Civil Rights Act, the Equal Opportunities Law and the Law Against Discrimination, N.J.S.A. 10:1-1, et. seq.; 2-1 et. seq. and 5-1 et. seq. (g) The Affirmative Action Law and regulations, N.J.S.A 10:5-31 and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1.1, et. seq. The Public Works Contractor Registration Act became effective on April 11, 2000. A copy of the certificate must be included in the bid package. Proposals must be submitted on a copy of the Form of Proposal enclosed in the Bid Specification. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or reject any and/or all bids as may be deemed to be in its best interest as permitted by law. Bidders are responsible for all requirements listed in the Invitation to Bid and as printed in the bid specification. Bidders may withdraw bids any time prior to opening.
