Site work and paving for a road / highway in Garrett, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

**As of February 28, 2022 project was awarded to API Construction Corp., bid amount is not available.** The project consists of approximately 10,700 linear feet of roadway rehabilitation with segments of Full Depth HMA Reconstruction, HMA milling and resurfacing, partial and full depth HMA patching, and concrete ADA curb ramp and sidewalk reconstruction, as well as other incidentals. Bid Opening - All interested citizens are invited to attend, and should any citizens require special accommodations, such as handicapped modifications or non-English translation personnel, the City will make every effort to provide these accommodations if they are requested. Bidders will be notified by Addendum if there are any alternative bidding procedures which may be implemented to accommodate the status of public access to City Hall at the time bids will be due. Bid proposals shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the title of the Project and the name and address of Bidder. Each bid shall be completed and properly executed on the bid forms as identified in the Contract Documents and must be accompanied by an executed Indiana State Board of Accounts Form 96, confirmation that copies of Addenda were received (if issued), and satisfactory bid security. A certified or cashier's check payable to the City of Garrett, or a bid bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount, must accompany each bid. The successful Bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds guaranteeing faithful and proper performance of the work and materials, executed by an acceptable surety company, at the time of contract execution. Each bond will be in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount and must be in full force and effect throughout the term of the Construction Contract plus a period of twelve (12) months from the date of substantial completion. Each Bidder is responsible for inspecting the project site and becoming familiar with the Contract Documents. The failure or omission of and Bidder to do any of the foregoing shall in no way relieve any Bidder from any obligation with respect to its Bid. In determining the lowest responsible bidder, the Board will consider the Total Base Bid made for the contract. The Board may also consider all other relevant facts mentioned in the Project Documents such as experience and subcontractors. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bidding and to award contracts in the best interest of the City of Garrett. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for opening bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified will not be considered. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least ninety (90) days. A conditional or qualified Bid will not be accepted. Bidder further agrees that the Work will be substantially complete by September 30, 2022, all remaining work shall be completed and ready for final payment on or before October 28, 2022
