*As of July 14, 2022, a general contractor has been awarded. Renovation to the existing POB North Suite 3P at the Community Hospital location. Demolition and abatement of the existing suite will be required to accommodate the proposed 8 exam room suite that will support the existing Family Medicine department. All work on this Contract is to be completed within 150 calendar days, starting ten (10) calendar days after all final approvals, which may include approvals of the New York State Attorney General and the Office of the State Comptroller. Bids must be submitted as three (3) complete packages, which must have original signatures on the forms provided by the University, in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The selected contractor must comply with M/WBE goals. State University of New York goals are: 15 % MBE and 15 % WBE participation of the total contract value. State University of New York also has a goal for the Work Force participation: EEO 10% WBE and EEO 10% MBE of total work force on the project. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
