CVWD is requesting proposals from qualified firms to upgrade the audio/visual (A/V) capabilities of the Palm Desert Boardroom, the associated training room, the building atrium/lobby videowall and, optionally, various additional conference rooms located in the Palm Desert Administration Building. The Successful Respondent will provide the insurance certificates and endorsement forms, payment and performance bonds, and execute the attached Design-Build Agreement, as specified within (15) business days of Notice of Award. The selected firm will be expected to: 1) Assess existing A/V equipment equipment and cable plant to determine suitability for re-use in the upgraded A/V environment. 2) Produce a design for upgraded A/V capabilities in the Administrative Building Boardroom, Atrium, Training Room, Board Caucus/Conference Room and, as an option, four additional conference rooms. 3) Procure, deliver, configure and install all required A/V equiment. 4) Install and certify new cabling or recertify existing cabling. 5) Provide integration with the District's Agenda Management System. 6) Deliver all documentation, configurations and source code necessary for the ongoing maintenance of the system. 7) Train operators and administrators of the A/V system(s). 8) Provide warranty for a minimum of three years.
