The work includes construction of 2 upstream inlets and 1 downstream outlet, which with concrete headwalls, wingwalls, aprons, buried side slope and scour protection. It also includes reconstruction and restoration of irrigation, landscaping, walkways, fencing, and other existing facilities. Also included in the project is the crossing of six existing public streets including Jefferson Ave, Ave 40, Ave 39, Ave 38 and Adams Street (2 locations). Work at these crossings will include construction of reinforced concrete box culverts, utility relocations, and street reconstruction. A traffic signal relocation is required for the crossing at Adams Street south of Ave 39.
