As of April 18, 2022, project was awarded to Kokosing Construction Company, Inc., awarded amount is $891,293.01. Bids shall be sealed and marked on the outside envelope as bid for KNO-CR6-0.00 (Upper Fredericktown Rd), PID 105448. The Project consists offull width pavement planning, transition planing, asphalt concrete intermediate (leveling) and surface courses, reconditioning shoulders using compacted aggregate, and centerline pavement marking. Total length of roadway improvement is 4.98 miles. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to "Knox County Engineer". All documents become property ofthe prospective bidder, with no portion ofthe payment being refunded. The Bid Package must be purchased from the above mentioned location to be considered a plan holder, receive Addenda, and be eligible to bid on the project. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid guarantees must meet the requirements ofthe Ohio Revised Code, Section 153.54. All bidders must be ODOT prequalified. All bidders must submit a DBE Utilization Plan with Formstack at time of bid submission. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation ofthis project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. This is a prevailing wage project and is subject to Davis Bacon Rates. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities.
