The Gifford Street Waterline Loop project includes the installation of approximately 804 linear feet of eight-inch diameter PVC waterline to provide a loop between the east end of Gifford Street and Watson Street in the Village of Fredericktown. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularity which does not affect the competitive nature of the bidding process or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder is required to furnish with its bid, a Bid Guaranty and Contract bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond Form shall be issued by a Surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the bid and all persons interested therein. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Bidders must comply with the Prevailing Wage Rates on Public Improvements in Knox County and Village of Fredericktown, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Wage and Hour Division, 614-644-2239.
