As of June 1, 2023, a consultant was awarded to provide a master plan. The master plan is complete but has not been adopted by the town's council. The owner has not established any construction projects. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Scope : preparing a master plan for the approximately 8 acres of Town-owned property at the southwest corner of Linden Street and the Union Pacific railroad. This master plan will build upon the Uptown Normal Master Plan Update completed in 2015. The master plan will be accompanied by a Preliminary Subdivision Plan. Submittals received after the deadline will not be eligible for selection. All submitted proposals shall include the completed conflict of interest form included in the RFQ packet. Submittals must not contain any cost information. The contract award will be made by the Normal Town Council and their decision will be final.
