Renovation of an educational facility in Jefferson City, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 49,976-square-foot educational facility.
The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. The base bid scope for the general contractor includes demolition of existing finishes including flooring, walls, casework, and ceilings and replacing with new throughout. Architectural scope is also in response to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen renovation throughout the building. Plumbing scope includes demolition and replacement of new including piping and fixtures. Electrical scope includes demolition and replacement of new including lighting, power, fire alarm, intercom, data, and security. The mechanical scope of work is under a separate contract with the Owner. The General Contractor will be responsible of coordinating with the mechanical contractor (see HVAC - Scope of Work - Responsibility Matrix). 2. The Work includes selective demolition, cast-in-place concrete, structural steel framing, miscellaneous rough carpentry, plastic laminate faced architectural cabinets and countertops, plastic paneling, thermal insulation, joint sealants, hollow metal doors and frames, flush wood doors, hardware, glazing, non-structural metal framing, gypsum board, ceramic tile, acoustical panel ceilings, resilient base and accessories, resilient sports flooring, resilient tile flooring, resinous flooring, painting, visual display surfaces, toilet compartments, toilet / bath accessories, horizontal louver blinds, plumbing, mechanical (by others), and electrical.
