Construction of the Red Bluff High School - Main Quad Shade Structures project including demolition, site work, concrete, asphalt paving, architectural, structural, electrical, landscaping, and other work as necessary or indicated to construct The Project. Bidders shall be licensed California contractors and shall comply with the State Labor Code. Prevailing wage rates are required. A 10% bid bond will be required. The successful bidder must possess the specified Contractor's license that is valid and active for each Bid Package listed below at the time of submitting a bid. The Contractor's California State License number shall be clearly stated on the bidder's proposal. Subcontractors shall be licensed pursuant to California law for the trades necessary to perform the Work called for in the Contract Documents. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bid A Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum to insure Owner during construction and for one year after completion against faulty or improper materials or workmanship and to assure Owner of full and prompt performance of the Contract. 2. Payment Bond: A Payment Bond (Labor and Material) in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum in accordance with the laws of the State of California to secure payment of any and all claims for labor and materials used or consumed in performance of this Contract. A. Contract is estimated to be awarded on February 17, 2022. B. Construction is estimated to begin the week of February 21, 2022 and be completed no later than August 1, 2022. C. No students will be on the Red Bluff HS campus on the following days: 1. Every Wednesday is an early release day. Students are dismissed from classes at 1:20PM. 2. February 21, 2022 to February 25, 2022. 3. April 18, 2022 to April 22, 2022. 4. The last day of the 2021-2022 school year is June 2, 2022.
