Saving Project...

Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Anthony, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Major items of work include: Remove existing liner and sludge. Restore the interior slopes of Cell No. 1. Construct an 18" compacted soil liner amended with bentonite. Install filter fabric and rip-rap on the interior slope of the dikes. Remove and replace existing inlet and outlet piping. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid shall accompany each bid in accordance with Instructions Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject bids. Owner and Contractor agree that time is of the essence of this Agreement, and both recognize thedelays, expenses, and difficulties involved in proving the actual financial loss Owner will suffer if the Work is not completed within the time specified. Accordingly, in lieu of any such proof, Owner and Contractor agree that as liquidated damages for delay, but not as a penalty, Contractor shall pay Owner $500.00 for each day that expires after the time specified PROJECT No: 2073145
