Site work and paving for a road / highway in Avon Park, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The principal features of the Project are: To provide all materials, equipment, and labor to mill and resurface the existing two-lane of W. Stryker Road from North Olive Drive to approximately 570' west of US HWY 27. The project also includes temporary traffic control, removal and replacement of traffic control devices, and the installation of sod within the right-of-way. A portion of North Oleander Drive will be reconfigured to align at the intersection with West Stryker Road. Owner and Contractor agree that as liquidated damages for delay (and not as a penalty) Contractor shall pay Owner One-Thousand Five hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) for each calendar day The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids or any parts thereof, and the determination of this Award, if an Award is made, will be made to the most responsive and responsible Bidder whose Bid and qualifications indicate that the Award will be in the best interest of the County
