Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Chester Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of March 29, 2022, the project is pending award. A timeframe for award has not been confirmed. Park Improvements Worrilow Park Improvements (Skate Park, Tennis Court, Walking Path, Playground Equipment, and Rain Garden) Bidders are required to submit a surety in the form of a bond or equivalent meeting 10% of the overall bid price in compliance with the contract documents. Bid bonds will be returned to the non-awarded bidders upon the execution of the contract. The successful Bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance Bond in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of receipt of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. The Bidder attention is called to the fact that this project is assisted with federal funds, and various federal requirements apply as noted in the bid documents, including but not limited to equal opportunity provisions and Davis-Bacon and Related Acts. Award of Contract will be to the lowest responsible bidder, but the Owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 2/11/2022 4:00 PM MBE (17.3%), WBE (6.9%)
