The city of information technology (it) department is requesting proposals to perform a comprehensive needs assessment for physical security related improvements (enhancements) on and around city facilities, to create policies and procedures that will become part of a physical security program, and to identify requirements that will be used in technology selection and planning for the city. RFP Q&A period ends: 02/09/2022 All questions concerning this Request for Proposal may be made portal Q&A, electronically, no later than February 9th, 2022 The City may investigate the qualifications of any consultant under consideration, require confirmation of information furnished by the consultant, and require additional evidence of qualifications to perform the work described in this RFP. This RFP does not commit the City to issue a contract to implement this procurement. If awarded a contract, the consultant shall maintain insurance coverage as listed in the Sample Professional Services Agreement (Attachment E), including worker's compensation, reflecting the minimum amounts and conditions specified by the City. Consultants are liable for all errors or omissions contained in their proposals. All questions related to this solicitation must be submitted through PlanetBids prior to the due date and time for questions published in the "Schedule of Events". Submitted proposals may be rejected if they do not conform to rfp requirements or are incomplete or inapplicable. However, the city reserves the right to waive irregularities. The city also reserves the right to reject all proposals and shall not be liable for any expenses or costs incurred by consultants in preparing their proposals.
