As of March 22,2022. This project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Bid Bond 5.00% The City of Pasadena ("City") will select a single qualified Contractor to perform improvements and seismic retrofit to Fire Station 38 including renovations to the kitchen, living room, locker room, restrooms, offices, storage area, and public counter, as well as voluntary seismic retrofit based on ASCE 41-17 standards (the "Project"). The Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition of walls and partitions to accommodate new floor plan layout; removal and replacement of flooring, tile, ceiling, lighting, fixtures, furniture, appliances, and equipment; installation of new fire detection devices, window treatments, cabinetry and doors; re-roofing; providing new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing; performing hazardous materials abatement; foundation strengthening at wood shear walls; wood shear wall strengthening; wood diaphragm strengthening; and seismic bracing of higher-risk non-structural components in the building. Renovation of existing Restroom and Shower Rooms w/ new finishes & plumbing fixtures. 2. Renovation of existing Locker Room w/ new finishes, and new custom lockers. 3. Renovation of existing Kitchen Rooms w/ new cabinetry/countertops, and new appliances. 4. Renovation of existing selected Office Rooms. 5. Renovation of existing Janitor/Laundry Rooms. 6. Renovation of existing Living Rooms. 7. Renovation of existing Accessory Storage Room. 8. Renovation of areas adjacent to the above rooms. 9. New seismic retrofit to include new shear walls, new foundation footing, new blockings etc. 10. Selected door replacement. 11. New weather seals and door hardware. 12. Replacement of existing windows. 13. New windows & sliding door roller shades. 14. Replacement of roofing system & rain gutters. 15. Replacement of HVAC systems and equipment curbs. 16. New exhaust fans. 17. New Solar Tubes. 18. New light fixtures. 19. New Gyp board over existing and new wood framing at walls and ceilings. 20. New R-15 insulation. 21. New R-30 insulation. 22. New polishing finish of existing concrete. 23. New exterior metal ladder w/ secure door, post pulley, and portable winch. 24. New plywood for walking around mechanical equipment. 25. Provide and install all electrical power, conduits, pull boxes, devices, relays, circuit breakers, and new generator 26. Fully cooperate with all City agencies and other Contractors under contract to the City and assigned to this project. 27. Contractor to obtain building permits from the City's Building Department. Plans are already check and approved by the Building Department. 28. Install electrical power and water connections for all contractors use. Provide and install one chemical toilet, fencing with green screening around the construction site and dumpster/laydown area (if needed, with prior approval of location from City Engineer). 29. The contractor is responsible to familiarize themselves with the existing utilities and electronic systems inside and outside the Fire Station to facilitate their work on this project. 30. The contractor is responsible for providing all required insurance, bonds, schedule of values, construction schedules, monthly updated schedules, attending weekly Owner, Architect, Contractor meetings, submitting monthly invoices, certified payrolls, three sets of closeout binders. 31. Contractor shall maintain during construction and provide final as-built drawings at completion of project
