The Contractor must supply and install kitchen appliances for Housing and Residential Life (HRL) on an as needed basis. Services include the supply, delivery, installation, of residential grade kitchen appliances at HRL Twin Cities facilities. Services may also include haul- away/ recycling for old appliances. The Contractor must work with the University Authorized Representative, Housing and Residential Life (HRL) staff, and other University staff on all aspects of the installation and delivery of appliances. If any aspect of the contract is subcontracted, the Contractor must oversee all aspects of the subcontractors work. Respondents can refer to Exhibit 2: Residence Halls/ Co-op Housing Information and Appliances Currently Used for additional information about what kitchen appliances are currently installed in HRL Twin Cities facilities. Substitution of products by the awarded Contractor without prior consultation and approval of the University will not be accepted. For products that are back ordered, the awarded Contractor must contact the University Authorized Representative with the estimated delivery date. The University Authorized Representative shall be notified if this date changes. The University reserves the right to terminate this Contract or items from this Contract if the awarded Contractors delivery performance is unsatisfactory. The awarded Contractor must provide all components of customer service related to the ordering and delivery of products and services within the Scope of this Contract, but is not limited to, order processing, conflict resolution, delivery, and reporting as outlined in the Contract. The awarded Contractor shall provide employees, an account manager, and must be able to answer questions and resolve problems that arise. University contract pricing, contracted product offerings/exclusions, billing questions or issues, contract compliance requirements, and general product information. For the purposes of this Contract, timely responses means no more than two (2) business days. Representative at least seventy-two (72) hours before delivery to allow for inspection and compliance. No delivery can be made on a University Holiday (See Twin Cities Holiday Calendar) on Saturday or Sunday, or after 4:00 p.m. Central Time on weekdays, without prior written approval by the ordering University Authorized Representative. Note that prevailing wage does not apply for unloading appliances and moving to rooms, but for installation that would include electrical, plumbing, and gas hookups.
