Question Cutoff Date: 2/10/2022 06:00 PM (ET) The City of Carrollton is soliciting requests for proposals from interested vendors to provide the City with full reconstruction of 18" curb and gutter lines throughout various parts of the City of Carrollton. This is a new initiative for the City and the budget for this annual project is $500K. All responders must submit a Bid Bond on the city form or bonding company's bid bond form based on 5% of respondent's bid total. Please be sure to upload an electronic copy of your bond. The original must be mailed and received by the established due date and time. These repairs will be 18" joint to joint. If the sidewalk behind the curb in gutter is in need of repair (meeting the 90/10 program specs), then that sidewalk will be repaired along with the 18" curb and gutter line. If the street panel in front of the curb in gutter needs repair, then that panel will be replaced, joint to joint. Request for Proposals may be submitted in person, by mail or electronically. We highly recommend bid proposals be submitted electronically as this is beneficial to the vendors to insure a complete proposal is submitted. Bidders shall have performed similar scope of work within the past three years. Attention is called to the provisions of the Acts of the 43rd Legislature of the State of Texas and subsequent amendments concerning the wage scale and payment of prevailing wages specified. Prevailing wage rate will be established by the City of Carrollton for this project. All bidders must comply with the rules and regulations for the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. CONDITIONS OF SITE AND WORK Bidders should carefully examine the Specification and other documents, visit the site of the work (if provided), and fully inform themselves as to all conditions and matters which can in any way affect the work or costs thereof. Should a Bidder find discrepancies in, or omissions from the drawings, specifications or other Contract Documents, or should Bidder be in doubt as to the meaning and intent, Bidder should notify the city at once and obtain clarification prior to submitting a bid.
