The City of Redlands is accepting bids for Sports Field Maintenance to include mowing, edging, blowing, string trimming, irrigation inspection/repair, Aeration, Herbicide/Pesticide Application (weeds only),Verti-Cutting, Thatching, Over-seeding, Top Dressing and field readiness for play. The initial length of this contract will be for a total of 12 months with two (2) one (1) year extensions for a total Purchase Order for Three (3) possible years. Liquidated Damages: $500.00 Per Calendar Day Last Day for Questions Friday, March 4, 2022 by 1:00 P.M. It shall be understood, however, that no specification interpretations will be made by telephone, nor will any products be considered for approval prior to award of the Contract. Changes, if any, will be made by addendum prior to opening of Bids Response to questions posted Monday, March 7, 2022 Bid security, in the form of a cashier check, a certified check made to the order of the City of Redlands, or a Bidders Bond, and in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Bid is required to be submitted with each Bid. Said check or said bond shall be given as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into contract with the City of Redlands if awarded the work, and will be declared forfeited if the said bidder fails to enter into contract within fourteen (14) days after Notice of Award. The Bidder to whom award is made will be required to furnish a Labor and Material Bond and a Faithful Performance Bond in an amount of 100% of the Bid amount, from a Surety Company satisfactory to the City of Redlands. The City Council of the City of Redlands reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any irregularity, and award contracts in the best interests of the City.
