The Town is not responsible for accepting any submissions delivered to other town buildings. Bids received prior to the time of opening will be securely kept, unopened until the opening time. No responsibility will attach to an officer or person for the premature opening of a bid not properly addressed and identified. Location: 45 Mill Street, Johnston, RI 02919 Sand the entire existing court floor down to bare wood of an appropriate court thickness. Furnish and install any and all sections, strips or pieces of wood as necessary to renew the flooring to proper playing condition. Make any sub-floor corrections if/as needed in these areas. Expand the existing floor/playing surface to the long, southern wall (parallel to Mill Street) by furnishing and installing new hardwood flooring that is consistent with the existing material and appropriate for basketball and other wooden court sports. This installation shall include any and all underlayment preparation and required underlayment structures/materials. In total, the entire flooring of the gymnasium area is approximately 98.38 feet long by 66.66 feet wide (6,558 square feet). Stain and/or apply any necessary products to the entire wooden floor for performance, protective, longevity, and aesthetic purposes. Furnish and paint the center court design/logo. Furnish and paint the court name on each side of the main floor court layout. Final design, wording, and color(s) to be determined. Furnish and install a finish/floor sealer as required for safe and sustainable court sport play, durability, and proper aesthetics.
