Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work to include: 1. Replacement of one defective boiler with new high efficiency boiler. 2. Furnish and install new LED lighting fixtures for interior and exterior lighting (1145-unit count) 3. Provide and install window tinting on south facing, east facing, and west facing windows to include the rotunda windows (432- unit count) 4. Provide retro commissioning to the Building Automation System (BAS) and ensure proper operations. Provide a new computer control system for HVAC, Interior Lights and Exterior Lights. 5. Provide third party energy engineer assessment and calculations of anticipated energy savings resulting from all energy upgrades associated with this proposal 6. Provide new motors on all AHUs with new drives to better balance air flows 7. Check all systems for proper operation and provide customer training on all installed systems 8. Provide (1) one year warranty on labor and parts with additional extended factory manufacturer's warranty on new products. This is a Design Build project. Contractor will provide a turnkey installation of all systems and services listed in the scope of work documents per the specifications and standards defined therein. All new equipment installations shall meet all applicable local, state, and national mechanical, electrical, and energy code requirements. In addition, the successful proposer must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, age, or national origin. El Progreso Memorial Library reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any information in the request for proposal. Proposals may be held by El Progreso Memorial Library for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of the receipt of proposals for the purpose of reviewing proposals and investigating the proposer's qualifications prior to an award. All proposers /contractors/ subcontractors that are debarred, suspended or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal assistance programs may not undertake any activity in part or in full under this project.
