Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Uvalde, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Demolishing and cleaning of the following premises: To demolish the vacant structure belonging to Monica Saiz Martinez located at 205 West Canales Street, NCB 247, Fairgrounds Addition, Block 6, Lot 11 in Uvalde, TX. 78801. The Contractor will be responsible for the demolishing of the structure. Contractors are responsible for taking all of the debris, tires and/ or fallen trees to the City landfill. Contractors are also responsible for paying all fees associated with the demolition and cleanup. Also the contractor will be responsible for shredding of any overgrown weeds & grass surrounding the property and for the cleaning of the lot. City employees or any members of their household are not eligible to bid or participate in any way in the actual cleaning of the premise. (Uvalde Municipal Code, City Charter, Article II Mayor, Council and Other Officers Generally, Section 15, Conflict of Interest.) The bids will be opened at 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 4, 2022, in the Permit office. All bidders are welcome to attend. The City of Uvalde reserves the right to reject all bids, to award the contracts in what it deems as its best interest. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 35 days after the actual date of opening thereof.
