The Project includes the following Bid Packages for bid: BP1 - General Construction, BP7C - Acoustical Ceilings, BP18A - Mechanical, BP19A - Electrical. DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK A. Scope: Finish all interior and exterior surfaces exposed to view, unless otherwise indicated. 1. Both sides and edges of plywood backboards before installing equipment. 2. Exposed surfaces of steel lintels and ledge angles. 3. Prime surfaces to receive wall coverings. B. Do not paint or finish the following items: 1. Items fully factory-finished unless specifically indicated; materials and products having factory-applied primers are not considered factory finished. 2. Items indicated to receive other finishes. 3. Items indicated to remain unfinished. 4. Stainless steel, anodized aluminum, bronze, terne, and lead items. 5. Floors, unless specifically so indicated. 6. Ceramic and other tiles. 7. Brick, cast stone, integrally colored plaster and stucco. 8. Acoustical materials, unless specifically so indicated. 9. Concealed pipes, ducts, and conduits. 10. Equipment labels, fire rating labels, and operating parts of equipment.
