Site work for a water / sewer project in Lions Head, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
In September 2021, the Lion's Head Harbour experienced a significant weather event which severely damaged the dock system in the harbour. This project will be to re-construct "C-Dock" in its entirety, from the on-shore header, to the outermost docks. In total, there will be 13 main docks and 19 finger docks. The intent of the project under this RFP is for the respondent to complete all tasks for the design, build and installation of a new dock system, including but not exclusive to, the supply of all labour, and materials as well as delivery in the water to the Lion's Head Harbour (1 Bruin Street, Lion's Head, Ontario). The Municipality has outlined two Options that will be considered for the new dock system in Lion's Head Harbour: Option 1: Wooden dock system with plastic float tubes (13 mains, 19 fingers) Option 2: Steel dock system with steel float tubes (13 mains, 19 fingers) The respondent has the option to submit a proposal for either one or both of these options, provided they accurately incorporate the specifications outlined below.
