Q & A deadline: Feb 15, 2022 8:00:00 PM EST The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District (Midpen or District) seeks a qualified consultant to develop and design four (4) interpretive panels for the Alma Cultural Landscape portion of Bear Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve. The panels will provide interpretation of several historical timeframes including the region's estate and Jesuit periods. A cultural landscape is how historians describe a place that is special not only because of human elements, like historic buildings, remanent structures, or events that occurred there but also because of the natural environment. Each human story associated with Alma Cultural Landscape was influenced by the site's defining natural features, resources and beauty.
