Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Montross, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
As of April 8, 2022, a genral contractr has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. Scope of Work The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, equipment, and supervision to repair the chimneys in Cabins 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 32 located on the grounds of Westmoreland State Park, VA 23040. Work Dates: The cabins will be closed for service during the time period of: January 24 th - March 1 st Work will be done during these times and will need to be completed by April 1 st Work Hours: All services shall be performed, unless mutually agreed upon by the Contractor and the Park Representative, during normal business hours, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. TO 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except for State & Federal Holidays. Crews will not be allowed to stay in the cabins while completing the work.
