Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Montross, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
i) The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, and supervision necessary to grind and prepare existing concrete floor per coating manufacturer specifications to achieve proper bonding profile. ii) The contractor must verify all dimensions. iii) Shotblast/Grind floor to achieve proper bonding. iv) Product: Dur-a-flex Hybriflex EC flooring system or approved equivalent, installed at a nominal 3/16" thick. Product color: Cobblestone or approved equivalent. v) Stall partitions will remain attached to walls. Contractor will remove, when possible, trim around partition components that connect to floor to ensure maximum coverage. vi) A 4.5" Johnsonite rubber cant cove base or approved equivalent will be installed to help prevent cracking. Color TBD. vii) All materials must be new and in good condition. viii) All products shall be installed per manufacturer's instructions and specifications. ix) Clean areas and remove all debris. Contractor shall maintain a Class B or higher contractor license All Inquiries for Information Should Be Directed To: Barbara Little, Procurement Officer at barbara.little@dcr.virginia.gov. All questions must be received via email by 4:00 PM March 28, 2024. All questions must be in writing and will be answered in writing, by email or addendum. Addendum (if needed) will be posted no later than 4:00PM April 2, 2024. Any deviation from the schedule described above must be approved in advance by the park. Any bid in response to this solicitation shall be valid for (60) days. At the end of the (60) days the bid may be withdrawn at the written request of the bidder. If the bid is not withdrawn at that time it remains in effect until an award is made or the solicitation is canceled.
