Site work for a mixed-use development in Montross, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are invited for the Westmoreland State Park, Slope Stabilization project. The project is generally described as: Repair and stabilization of an existing slope failure along the south shoreline of the Potomac River in Westmoreland State Park. The project includes excavation, grading, structural slope stabilization measures (soil nails), riprap revetment, drainage improvements, access improvements, and associated work required to repair and stabilize the slope. PROJECT CODE 199-18514-000 CONTRACT SECURITY: For contracts which exceed five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000), the Standard Performance Bond (CO-10) and the Standard Labor and Material Payment Bond (CO-10.1) shall be required, as specified in the IFB. For construction contracts up to $500,000, where Bid Bond requirements are waived, prospective contractors may be prequalified in accordance with Code of Virginia 2.2-4317. See General Conditions and Code of Virginia 2.2-4337 and 2.2-4338. The Owner reserves the right to require such bonds for contracts up to five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000). If the Owner so elects, the requirement shall be set forth in the IFB.
