Bid Security amount must equal 5 percent of the total amount of the Bid. A PDF of the Bid Security should be included in the bid documents. Bid Security will be returned to each unsuccessful Bidder after tabulation and award of the Construction Contract. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246, and the provisions of Executive Order no. 11375, Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 and 24 CRF Part 135 as included therein. The requirements for bidders and contractors under these regulations are explained in the specifications. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. Question Submission Close Date 3/1/2022 2:00 PM MST Bidders are invited to bid on the Construction Contract named and numbered as: FY 2020/2021 VARIOUS CIPP AND POINT REPAIRS, BUNDLE 2 Various locations throughout Salt Lake City Project Nos. 525002446, 525002959, 525002961, 525002964, 525002965, 525002967, 525002969, 525002970, 525002973, 525002976, and 525002977 The work to be performed consists of furnishing and installing the equipment, facilities, services, and appurtenances indicated in the Contract Documents. The Work generally includes, but is not limited to, the following: Rehabilitation of approximately 12,187-feet of 8, 10, and 12-inch sanitary sewer collection pipelines utilizing CIPP and open cut construction of point repairs at 11 project areas throughout the City. The location of the work is: 1. Project 525002446: 700 West From 250 North To 300 North 2. Project 525002959: CIPP Sewer On Claybourne Ave From 1300 East To Alden St 3. Project 525002961: 800 W 100 N To 100 S Both Sides 4. Project 525002964: CIPP Sewer On 1000 East Between 2700 South And 2800 South 5. Project 525002965: South Temple From 1410 East To 1380 East 6. Project 525002967: CIPP Sewer 745 South Guardsman Way 7. Project 525002969: CIPP Sewer 745 South Guardsman Way North 8. Project 525002970: CIPP Sewer On Apache Circle 9. Project 525002973: CIPP Sewer Line From 300 West To 260 West On Ave 10. Project 525002976: CIPP Sewer On Bryan Ave From 1000 East To 1100 East 11. Project 525002977: CIPP Sewer On 1200 East From Wood Ave To Milton Ave B. The construction contract is being administered by Salt Lake City and these sewer mains and all appurtenances are subject to Salt Lake City Standards. All sewer impedances shall be coordinated through Salt Lake City Department of Public Utilities. As much of the work will be constructed in right-of-way administered by entities other than Salt Lake City, trench backfill and surface restoration will be subject to the standards of the administering jurisdiction and the CONTRACTOR shall obtain the required permits to conduct operation within those right-of-way.
