Provide cybersecurity Electronic Security System (ESS) and Energy Monitoring Control System (EMCS), sustainability and energy measures, and antiterrorism measures. Demolish all interior floor, wall, and ceiling finishes within Bldg. 652 and Bldg. 654. Demolish existing doors, hardware, equipment, furnishings, mechanical, electrical, telecommunication, and fire protection systems. Provide structural reinforcement to floor and roof elements. Construct a central building addition to link Bldg. 652 and Bldg. 654 to serve as the main ingress and egress between facilities at each floor. Regrade and construct parking lot to west of Bldg. 652/654, including related retaining wall and storm water work. A pedestrian bridge walkway is to be constructed to connect the new addition building and the elevated parking lot. Add Option: Include an ‘Option’ to remove and replace existing slate roofing in entirety at both buildings 652 and 654 and perform all related hazmat abatement required for this work. All digging within the historically sensitive areas of post is to be done with the oversight of DPW Cultural Resources.
