Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Long Beach, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The work shall include but not limited to furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the replacement of new mechanical and electrical systems inside the lift station, installation of new maintenance hole (MH) and 12-inch VCP, and AC access path paving. The mechanical and electrical work includes removing and replacing the pumps, ventilation system, piping and appurtenances, electrical conduits, instrumentation, and diesel-powered standby generator. The project will also relocating the bypass pumping connection from inside the lift station to outside the lift station and interconnect a new MH to an existing manhole. The new MH will be accessed via a new AC paved path drive way. A short concrete masonry wall will retain the new MH. A bypass pumping systems is required for construction.
