ANY MISUNDERSTANDINGS DUE TO NON-ATTENDANCE WILL NOT BE REASON FOR LETTING A BIDDER OUT OF THE BID. The scope of work consists of the reconstruction of Tucker Street from Taylor Street to Tyler Street, Miller Drive from 100 feet south of Keller Circle to Slay Drive, and Bartlett Drive from Clover Valley Drive to Miller Drive. Water, sanitary sewer and drainage improvements are provided at various locations of the project. The work includes, but is not limited to, mobilization, preparation of right-of-way, traffic control, approximately 14,069 SY of 6 thick reinforced concrete pavement on flex base subgrade, and approximately 27,513 SF of 4-inch thick reinforced concrete sidewalks, approximately 1,499 LF of 18-inch to 4'x4' reinforced concrete pipe and box culvert, 3,940 LF of 8- inch to 15-inch diameter sanitary sewer, 4,313 LF of 8-inch water line, and any other work deemed necessary by the City. Originals must be submitted in the bid packet OR received by the Purchasing Manager before the RFP opening. The winning bidder, upon City acceptance, will be required to provide the City with a minimum two (2) year maintenance bond. The maintenance bond shall be in the amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) or ten (10%) percent of the amount of the contract, whichever is greater, but not to exceed one hundred (100) percent of the contract amount. City of The Colony reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to waive any informality in any bid, and to accept the bid which, in its discretion, is in the best interest of the City. BIDDER agrees that all work awarded will be completed within 360 Calendar days, which includes 36 inclement weather days, for this project
