The County is seeking bids to fence tracts near Runway 7 and to re-mark Runway 7-25.The bid schedules provided below have been compiled into one set of bid documents. The Contractor may bid on one select bid schedule or both bid schedules. Each bid schedule will be evaluated separately for the lowest responsive bidder. Schedule A - Fencing Project: It is the desire of Greene County to address the need to fence in three recently acquired tracts of land adjacent to the Runway 7 end of the airfield which includes demolition of two structures on the old Hatsis property, removal of existing wooden fence, and installation of new fencing around the airport boundary. Schedule B - Runway 7-25 Re-Marking Project: The project also includes re-marking Runway 7-25 due to excessive fading of the old runway markings. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, made payable to Greene County, Georgia, equal to five (5) percent of the total bid is required. Contract security in the form of 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. No bid may be withdrawn after closing time for the receipt of proposals for a period of One Hundred and Twenty (120) days. Contract time for Schedule A - Fencing Project will be Fourteen (14) consecutive calendar days from the date of Notice-to-Proceed. Contract time for Schedule B - Runway 7-25 Re-Marking Project will be Three (3) consecutive calendar days from the date of Notice-to-Proceed. Contract time for Schedule A & B combined will be Fifteen (15) consecutive calendar days from the date of Notice-to-Proceed
