The successful Bidder(s) will conduct a System Survey as well as provide Preventive Maintenance Inspections and Service on Dust Collector Systems semi annually, as detailed below, and if required in certain locations three times a year, depending on the work load of the dust collector, and as requested by the Board. All works performed on this Contract shall be carried out in a manner to minimize disruptions to schools. Works performed during a school day should be done in a manner as not to interrupt the schools normal operation or create any health or safety concerns to the school staff or students. The successful Bidder(s) are responsible to provide all required tools and equipment necessary to facilitate the works of this Contract, including inspections/surveys and repairs to the Dust Collector Systems. When work is being performed on the Dust Collector Systems, whether it is inspections or repairs, the successful Bidder(s) shall remove all the waste from the bins and dust collector unit and dispose of it off site, no School garbage bins are permitted to be used. If the Bidder identifies unsafe or deficient conditions on a work site that should be rectified, the Bidder must advise the Board designate of the conditions immediately and not assume responsibility to proceed with work that is outside the scope of the contract. They may also tag and lockout equipment until repairs are authorized and carried out if necessary. No works shall be performed without prior authorization of the Board, and receipt of a Board issued work order and Purchase Order. Bidders shall provide a price per school in the Schedule of Prices in the Bidding System as indicated to perform the System Survey including the detailed summary report that shall result from the survey. The semi-annual Preventive Maintenance will be completed during July of each year and December of each year (coordinated with the boards Christmas school closure period) . Bidders shall provide the cost per site to perform the semi-annual Preventive Maintenance as indicated in the Bidding System. Deadline for Questions February 8, 2022 4:00 PM. While the Board will take every reasonable to meet the above dates, the Board reserves the right to modify any or all dates at its sole discretion.
