The Albany District Port Commission (APDC) is seeking proposals for Port expansion site preparation. Total MWBE Participation Goals: 30% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No This request for proposals includes the following scope of work: o Mobilization and survey stakeout o Work Zone Traffic Control on NYS Route 144 o Installation of the proposed gravel site access road off of NYS Route 144 o Clearing and grubbing of approximately 82 acres of vacant land o Establishment of erosion and sedimentation control practices including but not limited to: Stabilized construction entrance Proposed stormwater pond Temporary sedimentation basins Silt fencing Slope stabilization matting Stone check dams Riprap lined swales and embankment slopes o Earthwork including cutting and reusing approximately 98,000 cubic yards of on onsite material to establish the subgrade elevations for the proposed building footprints. o Importing and compaction of approximately 160,000 cubic yards of suitable fill material to establish the subgrade elevation for the remainder of the site. o Importing and placing of approximately 395,000 cubic yards of stone aggregate material to surcharge the proposed building footprints.
