The City of Saginaw is soliciting sealed bid proposals for Overhead Door Replacements at Public Works & Maintenance Service Buildings For questions concerning the specifications or walk through, please contact Jay Gustin at (989)297-0880 or email jgustin@saginaw-mi.com. An original Bid Bond, Certified Check, Bank Money Order or Cashier's Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount bid must be submitted with any bid in excess of $100,000. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, or parts thereof, and to waive any irregularities which do not materially affect the bid document or otherwise conflict with statute or ordinance. Any rejections of bids shall be made only if there is a sound documented reason for same. Public Works Overhead Door Replacement 1. Removal and replacement of 2 Thermacore 592 commercial doors. Alternative manufacturers are acceptable of equal or greater value. Include operators see specs listed below. 2. The contractor shall be responsible for keeping the work site safe and clean at all times. 3. Contractor must haul away and dispose of old doors and debris generated form the project. 4. Contractor is responsible for security of their own tools, equipment, materials, etc. to guard against fire, theft, vandalism, and/or weather damage. 5. Contractor shall contact Facilities Administrator, Jay Gustin, at 989 297-0880 at least 72 hours in advance of starting any work on site 6. All work shall be completed in a workmanlike manner and in accordance with the construction codes of the State of Michigan Maintenance & Service Overhead Door Replacement 1.
