The successful bidder/contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools and supervision necessary and required during the course of performing Tree Trimming services within the right-of-way areas. Prune all trees on the attached list and any additional trees as may be required to establish a minimum clearance height of twelve (12) feet above sidewalks, fifteen (15) feet above curbs, and eighteen (18) feet above the center of the street. Where streetlights are located, prune all tree limbs from under and around the light, in a fashion that will permit the streetlight to illuminate the area around the light without being blocked or impeded. Damage to streets, curbs, sidewalks, driveways, turf or soil depressions caused by improper operation of vehicles, or as a result from this project will be the contractor's responsibility to repair. The Contractor is to provide an urban forester to ensure all pruning practices are performed in aesthetically pleasing manner that corresponds with ANSI A300, (American National Standard Institute) pruning guidelines. The Contractor shall have under their employ at least one (1) employee who holds an ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) Certification, and Contractor shall ensure that ISA Certification is maintained throughout the contract period. All work shall be performed or supervised on-site by an ISA Certified Arborist. Contractor will schedule and complete requested tree trimming services from approximately March 7, 2022 - June 7, 2022 within a three (3) month period. Tree totals approximately 762 in District 4 Contractor shall provide the City with an acceptable maintenance schedule and monthly performance report. Contractor shall contact Public Works Department staff immediately if inclement weather has materially affected the maintenance schedule. The cycle will be completed within three (3) months to include: Waste Disposal Clean Up Tree Trimming Services Contractor must remove all waste, twigs, leaves and sawdust on the streets, sidewalks and driveways that have been produced as a result of the tree trimming operation. The successful contractor shall complete trimming approximately 762 trees within a three (3) month period. BILLING Fees for Tree Trimming Services shall be billed upon completion.
