Renovation of a water / sewer project in Craig, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
2022 SLUDGE HANDLING IMPROVEMENTS - Phase 3 The Project is to be fully completed by July 1, 2022 . The Work of this Contract generally consists of the following system improvements, to be completed one at a time in the order listed: Replace ~7,300 linear feet of existing 4 PVC sludge line with Owner (City of Craig) provided 6" DR9 (250 psi) DIPS HDPE from end of Phase 2 to the existing sludge drying facility. Install air relief valves in manholes at highpoints in the alignment and demolish existing air-relief manholes and existing 4 line (where necessary for installation of replacement line). Truck sludge to the existing sludge drying beds during the period when the line is out of service. Revegetate and/or refurbish any areas impacted by the installation. Each Bidder shall file with his bid a bid security in the form of a cashier's check, certified check or a bidder's bond in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance Bond guaranteeing faithful performance and a Labor and Material Payment Bond guaranteeing payment of all debts arising out of the Work. The City of Craig reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to waive any informalities or irregularities therein.
