**As of April 29, 2024, This project has been awarded to Duran & Pearce Contractors Inc., with the awarded amount of $759,450.22.** The City of Craig is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to update the Alice Pleasant Park in downtown Craig, CO. This work consists of site demolition of some existing landscape and hardscape features, electrical pedestrian light poles and power pedestals, site furnishings, and sections of the existing asphalt parking lot and associated curb and gutter. Construction of new curb and gutter, asphalt patch-back and striping, new concrete paving, pedestrian light poles and power pedestals, landscape and irrigation, installation of a premanufactured shade structure and a single unit restroom with associated utility service connections comprise the bulk of work. Any explanation desired by a Respondent must be requested of the City representative in writing later than 3/15/2024 and if an explanation is necessary, a reply shall be made in the form of an addendum, a copy of which shall be forwarded by 3/29/2024 and emailed to each Respondent. Delay Damages. Time is of the essence with respect to the deadline to complete the work under this agreement. In the event that final completion of the project is reached by November 1, 2024, then the City of Craig shall be entitled to claim delay damages. The amount of delay damages will be liquidated in the amount of $500.00 per calendar day.
