PURPOSE: The Plano Independent School District is seeking sealed bids for the purchase of athletic and P.E. equipment, supplies and uniforms required by the District, including, but not limited to: soccer, baseball, softball, basketball, tennis, wrestling, volleyball, swimming, golf and track. Such purchases will be made on an as needed basis. ANNUAL EXPENDITURE: The estimated annual expenditure for this contract is approximately $600,000.00 per year. However, this estimate should not be construed to be a guarantee of either minimum or maximum since usage is dependent upon actual needs and available funding. This estimate may be exceeded by 25% annually. TERM: The term of the contract will be for one year from date of Board approval and all prices must remain firm for this period of time. In addition, this bid may be extended for four (4) additional years provided all key parties agree. At that time, if there are industry-wide increases or circumstances beyond your control that can be documented, we will consider price increases for the line items involved. This decision will be made by Plano ISD in its best interests at that time.
