The existing entrance to Maquoketa Caves State Park from the highway doesn't have an adequate entry sign. This project will remove the current sign on the highway and place a new concrete and stone monument sign as shown in the drawings. Maquoketa Caves State Park, Jackson County, IA.Entry Portal Maquoketa Caves State Park The CONTRACTOR shall furnish, at his own proper cost and expense, all materials, equipment, labor, insurance, and other accessories and services necessary to complete, in a workmanlike manner, ready for continuous operation, the above-mentioned project. The work shall be performed in accordance with the requirements and provisions of the following documents, all of which are made a part hereof and collectively evidence and constitute the contract: CONTRACTOR's Proposal attached as Attachment A. Supplemental Information & Special Provisions as Attachment B. Drawings Titled, "Maquoketa Caves State Park - Stone Entry Portal", 6 Sheets. It is intended that the specifications and plans, which include the Description of the Project on the first page of this Contract and supplemented as may be necessary by the DEPARTMENT, shall provide for the completion of the work specified herein. The time of commencement of work under this contract shall be within a reasonable period of time after the preconstruction conference as approved by the Department. The date of completion of the work under this contract shall be: June 10, 2022.
