Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in St-Nazaire-du-Lac-St-Jean, Quebec. Working plans call for the construction of a 6,000-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility; 3,800-square-foot parking garage; for site work for a fire / police facility; and for the demolition of a fire / police facility.
Construction of a municipal garage and a fire station grouped together and on the site of the current municipal garage. The project consists of, but is not limited to the demolition of the current municipal garage, building of a new building bringing together the municipal garage and the fire station according to the preliminary project study carried out by the firm Pole architecture as well as all other related work. TIMELINE: The owner is currently revising the final plans in order to submit them to the Quebec Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing. According to the owner's preliminary scheduling a tender for the general contractor will be issued by February 2027, construction start is anticipated in spring 2027. Completion of the project is expected in spring 2028.
