The Bristol Virginia School Board (the Board) invites bids from qualified vendors for the lawn mowing and grounds maintenance of seven (7) locations. Inquiries Deadline 02/10/22 Any question, for which the answer would affect price or delivery of services, must be submitted in writing by 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2022. Questions should be e-mailed to Meghan Mangrum at mmangrum@bvps.org. No changes resulting in questions are official unless issued in writing in the form of an addendum. The individual named above is the sole contact for any and all inquiries after this IFB has been released. This contract will cover lawn mowing and grounds maintenance for all of the school system's seven locations from March 1, 2022 through February 28, 2023. It shall be subject to four (4) successive annual renewals thereafter at the option of the School Board. The Bristol Virginia School Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and to contract as the best interest of the Bristol Virginia Public School System may require. The School Board reserves the right to renegotiate the terms of this contract once school consolidation is complete.The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, to waive any informality, and to delete items prior to making an award. The Bristol Virginia School Board reserves the right to issue, at its sole discretion, more contracts under the IFB, or to issue additional IFB's for similar work. The Bristol Virginia School Board also reserves the right to issue project orders to other Open-End Contractors The Board reserves the right to inspect bidder's physical facilities prior to award to satisfy questions regarding the bidder's capabilities. The Board further reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigations of, such bidder fails to satisfy the Board that such bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to provide the services and/or furnish the goods contemplated therein.
