Renovation of a water / sewer project in Asherton, Texas. Design plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
As of August 2023, the project is in the FEMA approval process. A firm bidding and construction timeline have been established due to funding issues. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference The City of Asherton is planning to install a generator at the water tower. This project will be funded with federal funds. Accordingly, the City is seeking to contract with a qualified engineering firm registered to practice in the State of Texas to assist with an Emergency Preparedness Plan and prepare all preliminary and final design plans and specifications, and to conduct all necessary interim and final inspections. The City reserves the right to negotiate with any and all individuals, engineers or firms that submit proposals, as per the Texas Professional Services Procurement Act and the Uniform Grant and Contract Management Standards. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
